I play around a hundred nights a year across Asia, Europe and New York, I teach, and people ask me what I use. If your product belongs on that list, here is what I look for.

I use it first

Send the product, or tell me where to try it. If it does not survive a month of gigs, I will tell you why, and we stop there.

Respect for the music

I work with people who ask what I play before they ask what I can post. The drum company that reached out this year started with a conversation about my career. That is the standard.

Long over loud

I would rather be on your roster for ten years than in your feed for ten days. Clinics, masterclasses, honest content from the road, and a name you can put on a product page.
